Last updated: 19 October 2026. This policy explains which personal data I collect through this site, why, and what your rights are, in line with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia (ZZPL).
Who processes the data
The data controller is Jovan Rudić Vranić, Subotica, Serbia, email: info@jovanrudic.com.
What data I collect
- Contact forms (contact page, collaboration and hiring forms): name, email, phone number if you enter it, subject and message.
- Updates sign-up (newsletter): email address.
- Technical data: IP address and browser details in the hosting server logs, for site security.
- Visit statistics (Jetpack Stats by Automattic): IP address, browser, visited and referring page, browser language and country. I only see totals, such as how many times a page was read, never who read it.
- Cookies: see the Cookie policy.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Replying to your enquiry or job offer: your consent and steps taken before a possible contract.
- Sending updates: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Site security and operation: legitimate interest.
- Visit statistics: legitimate interest in knowing which content is useful.
How long I keep data
I keep contact form messages for 12 months after our last contact, unless they lead to a collaboration. I keep your updates email until you unsubscribe. Automattic keeps visit statistics logs, including IP addresses, for 28 days.
Who receives the data
I don’t sell your data or share it for marketing. Only the service providers that keep the site running can access it: the hosting provider Pressable (Automattic Inc., USA), an email hosting provider with servers in Germany (EU), and the newsletter tool MailPoet, which runs on this site, so subscriber addresses stay with the same hosting provider. If any of them is based outside Serbia, the transfer follows the safeguards required by the ZZPL.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and portability, and to object or withdraw your consent. Send your request to info@jovanrudic.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always on this page, with the date of the last change.
